Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 15 August 2026
1. Our Commitment
Headshot Queue, made by PortraitDesk, is committed to making our website and platform usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We're actively working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and EN 301 549.
2. Conformance Status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet every criterion, though the overwhelming majority of the site does. This is an honest, ongoing self-assessment, not a certification from an accredited third party.
Improvements made as part of our most recent accessibility review include:
- Corrected text and background color combinations across the platform that previously fell below the required 4.5:1 contrast ratio
- Added "skip to main content" links across every page, letting keyboard and screen-reader users bypass repeated navigation
- Verified image alt text, form labeling, and heading structure across all public-facing pages
3. Known Limitations
We haven't yet completed a full, page-by-page audit against every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion — areas such as complete keyboard-operability testing, screen-reader testing with real assistive technology, and focus-order verification across the more complex parts of the platform (like the live photo queue) are still in progress. We're addressing gaps as we find them, and prioritizing based on real user impact.
4. Third-Party Content
Some content is provided by third parties we don't control — for example, Stripe's payment forms. We choose reputable providers and encourage them to meet accessibility standards, but can't guarantee their content meets the same conformance level as pages we build ourselves.
5. Feedback and Contact
We want to know if you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this platform. Please tell us:
- The web page or feature where you ran into a problem
- A description of the issue you experienced
- The device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using, if relevant
You can reach us at info@headshotqueue.com, or through our Data Protection Complaints page, which we monitor and respond to directly. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and address genuine barriers as a priority.
6. Enforcement
If you're not satisfied with our response, you may be able to raise the matter with the accessibility enforcement body in your own country, since the European Accessibility Act is enforced at the national level by each EU member state.
7. Scope of This Statement
This statement covers headshotqueue.com and the platform's authenticated dashboard. It doesn't cover client-uploaded content (such as photos or logos) or the internal websites of third-party services we link to.
